Jobs applications...BLAH

Chris here...

So I just sent out about 5 different job applications to various schools. I certainly hope that at least an interview comes out of it. Its definitely not fun at all applying for jobs when you don't even get an interview, but that seems to be a general theme these days. I don't really care anymore about getting a job for money, I just really miss being a teacher. I love inspiring students to reach (or at least realize) their full potential. That is what I am meant to do with my life. I just keep telling myself that God knows that and he is just waiting for the perfect opportunity to arise for me to put my teaching to great. This waiting game is not really so fun though.

I applied at different school district. One position was at Southwest Allen County Schools as a longterm substitute position. I highly doubt that position school will contact me, as they haven't wanted to interview me for the last SIX times I have tried...but we can hope. I also applied for a position at the school district that I worked for last year...which would be a difficult job, but I'm willing to snatch up anything. Then I applied for several paraprofessional positions at a school district I went to when I was a first and second grader. Hoping that me being a former student will improve my chances. I also sent a letter to the principal of Prairie Height Elem. School (the school district that I graduated from). They aren't hiring at all, but I wanted to send her my resume just in case. Working there would be a dream job...highly unlikely but I guess I can always be hopeful...

Well, if you are reading this, thanks for allowing me to vent a little. Please pray, if you do, that I can at least get an interview at one of these schools. I really need this. Like I said...God has a plan... Just hope I knew what that plan was, and when it's all gonna play itself out.

Peace and love guys!

  1. I would love to work at Prairie Heights, too. Here's to hoping for both of us, eh?
